Giovanna Menard is one of the founding partner at MLLEGALGROUP and a managing partner.

Giovanna has been practicing law for over 20 years. Prior to opening her own law firm, she was from 2006 to 2011 Head of the Legal and Regulatory Department of Unigestion Holding S.A., Digicel, Haiti, which is the largest mobile phone operator in the country and one of the largest in the Caribbean.  She became their legal consultant during the year after.

She has specialized in various practices of law which includes: telecommunication law and regulation, corporate law, civil law, labor law, NGO law, criminal law, commercial law, property law, foreign, trademark registration, etc.  She is known in Court as a fierce lawyer in her fields.

Giovanna served as a Telecom law and Regulation Consultant to the National Telecommunication Regulator, Conseil National des Telecommunications CONATEL from 2012 to 2016 and is a registered Consultant to the International Telecommunications Union ITU for having worked with the HIPCACR project on policies and regulations for a new TIC law for the Caribbean.

She is a legal advisor to renowned local companies, Nonprofit and Nongovernmental organizations in Haiti. Several International companies have sought her legal advice in establishing their business or doing business in Haiti.

Giovanna has been a consultant for the private and the publicsector and a member of the presidential commission of telecommunications for the elaboration of the new Telecom Law which sits today at the Parliament awaiting to be passed. 

She regularly collaborates with colleagues of foreign law firms in the United States, the Caribbean and Europe.

Her career has also helped her build a strong relationship with all important stakeholders and government officials and well-known associations such as the Port-au-Prince Bar Association, Several Chambers of Commerce, the National Telecom Council, civil organizations, and private sector associations. She sits on many boards and has become an alumnus of prestigious International and National programs.

Therefore she is responsible for playing the key role of being the firm's liaison with the international community, Haitian authorities, as well as the private sector.

Alain Lemithe is one of the founding partner at CABINET MENARD-LEMITHE and a managing partner.

Alain has been practicing law since 2005, (Law degree, 2000-2004), (licensed in Law, September  2005). Certificate In “Globalization”, seminar organized by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) professors, Haiti (December 2000), Certificate in "DerechoInternacional de los DerechosHumanos" EscuelaNaciolal De La Judicatura, Dominican Republic (June 2011).

Prior to opening his own law firm, he served as a Legal advisor at SONAPI the acronym of SociétéNationale des ParcsIndustriels,the independent state organization that runs the biggest industrial park in Port-Prince.Haiti from 2004 to 2010. From 2005 to 2015, Alain was a senior attorney in Cabinet Lissade, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, 2005-2015.

He has specialized in various practices of law which includes:  Civil Law, Commercial Law,  Criminal Law, Criminal Fraud, Financial Crime, Labor law, Commercial Collections.

He also collaborates with colleagues of foreign law firms in the United States, the Caribbean and Europe.

His career has helped him build a strong relationship with government officials and governmental and Civil organizations, Chambers of Commerce, and the private sector.

Therefore, he is continually contributing to develop the firm’s relationships with the Haitian authorities, as well as the private sector.
